Professor Junic Kim is Chair of the Department of Business Administration and Associate Professor of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Konkuk University. He studied Business and Management at the University of Manchester. His research focuses on platform business, entrepreneurship, innovation and AI business. His work has appeared in leading journals in strategic management and innovation studies, and he has advised major IT firms, research institutes, and startups in Korea. Before entering academia, he worked in strategic planning and partnerships at Samsung Electronics Headquarters. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA), an advisor to Meta (formerly Facebook), and a finalist for the 2024–25 Study UK Alumni Awards organised by the British Embassy and the British Council.
